LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N leader, Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday said that his party would make the incumbent government accountable for the rise in POL and CNG rates.
Addressing a programme at a private school here, the MNA said corruption was done in IPPs projects when Benazir Bhutto was in power and now the same practice was being repeated in Rental Power Projects (RPPs).
"It is Asif Zardari's same money from kickbacks that lies in Swiss accounts today," he alleged.
He said the National Assembly session to be started on April 5 would be full of activity.
Saad Rafique said the Punjab Government intended to start its own projects for power generation but the international institutions required surety that could only be granted by the Federation.
