LAHORE: Former minister and Pakistan Muslim League(PML)-Q leader Amir Muqam called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif and expressed full confidence in his policies on Wednesday.
Muqam met the PML-N leader at his residence in Raiwind where other party officials including Shahbaz Sharif, Zafar Jhagra, Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi and Pir Sabir Shah were also present.
According to sources, Muqam is likely to join the PML-N along with his associates and would announce his decision during a press briefing in Peshawar.
Differences emerged between Muqam and Q-league leadership after the party joined the PPP-led coalition.
The meeting comes a day after PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat on Tuesday sacked Muqam and dissolved the party wing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
