MULSTAN: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa on Sunday termed the 'Chief Executive of Punjab' Shahbaz Sharif's issuing statements against the President as an act of treason in light of the Constitution.
Talking to Pakistan People's Party workers here at Circuit House, Latif Khosa said he prayed for Punjab Chief Minister's health, as he feared the possibility of the CM's undergoing a brain hemorrhage.
"The statements about hanging the President amount to an attempt to dismember the Federation," he said, adding Shahbaz Sharif's attitude resembled that of an 'Amir-ul-Momineen' who remains absent from the assembly for 9 months (in a year).
